What we focus on, we get more of it
  • What do you thing about most of the time during the day?
  • What are your concerns that you are thinking about often?
  • What are your fears that stops you from doing what you want to do?
  • What is your inner dialog about the things in life, people or a situation, or particular person?
  • How does it serve you? Do you feel well thinking in this way? How these thoughts feed your soul or intellect?

What we focus on, we get more of it.

Try it.

  • If you think about what you don’t have, your energy goes down and you see or feel mostly lack…
  • If you thing about a particular person in a negative way, you direct your energy to him/her without they being aware about it at all. But your energy flows in the empty space.  And you loose it accumulating more lack and more negative thoughts.
  • But if you create some positive thoughts about the same situation or person, you will recharge yourself with more positive energy and this will impact your whole day in a positive way. You will radiate positive energy to others and you will be a generator of a positive change in your environment, business and life.

Try to shift your focus for some period of time and make some experiments with it.

Is it difficult?

Sometimes yes.

And it is difficult because of the emotional attachments we have to people and situations.

The emotions create the chemistry in our body. And we addict to the chemistry we produces. This is an addiction too. And our body wants to be fed with the emotions that it used to have. And this addiction provokes us to create more of it. And we continue to repeat the old negative inner dialog as if it is stuck in us.

How can we change the direction of our focus and keeping the new direction most of the time?

There are several ways to do it:

  1. Just be aware about where your focus goes and shift it purposefully to a direction that serves you better.
  2. If it does not work, you need to decide purposefully to get detached emotionally from it and to see the situation, people or the case from another perspective. And to chose what your new focus would be.
  3. Try to focus on the positive things, the things you have, the gratitude, etc. and do it for at least for 21 days to change the chemistry in your body and your body and mind to get used to the new chemistry. During this period you will start to experience more positive things and you will want more of them. This internal desire will help you continue.

Some times we are so much attached to our emotions, what we think about people and situations that we cannot do the above steps alone.
